Due to my illegal unauthorized exploration of Xinjiang, I subsequently worked with several small NGOs advocating for the rights of Uyghurs, including political lobbying leading to the recognition of the genocide in The Netherlands.

For weeks, I worked as a police informant, assisting the Kathmandu police in an undercover operation targeting drug trafficking and underage prostitution, where my photographic evidence and direct involvement led to multiple arrests

I partnered with an NGO in the unrecognized, Soviet-style “state” of Transnistria, gathering promotional photo material—some of which appears in this article.

I provided photography and data for research and promotional materials about Himalayan porters and guides. We also collected data showing that Sherpas were underpaid and companies lied.

Usually working with senior journalist Joser Ferreras as a writer. I contributed to multiple articles at TripZilla, including a first-hand account of the Hong Kong protests.

I worked with the University of Twente (my alma matter) on numerous projects, covering many events under strict deadlines and with a variety of people – including a full exhibition of my work.
